Knob Creek bourbon and Pepin Black Label…
Shawn of Uniontown, PA writes: (Knob Creek) “…has similar flavors you would look for in a cigar i.e. spice, smoothness, and a touch of sweetness. It goes well with a nicaraguan of that profile; my choice; pepin black label.” He suggests the bourbon be “…straight, two cubes, or in a manhattan”
Here! Here! I agree. I’ll also go for a whiskey, two cubes of ice, and a strong cigar. Buffalo Trace is my favorite with Forty Creek or Crown Royal subbing just fine. I tried a Merlot once and it didn’t work too well. The after taste was stronger then usual. A port might be good, and I think I’ll give that a try. Thanks.
