What’s your favorite vitola?

Small cigars can have big taste.

As discussed in Flavor and Vitola, the flavor profile of a cigar brand will vary from one vitola (the cigar’s shape and size) to the next.  I’m curious to hear which vitolas people prefer and why?  I’m a toro guy because I like the fatness of a robusto but enjoy smoking a slightly longer cigar.  What is your preference?

My favorite is the torpedo 6 X 52. That being said, I tend to be a one cigar a day smoker who smokes 95% on my patio.
During the cooler shorter days I tend to smoke corona gordas and robustos. After day light savings kicks in and the temperatures rise I smoke torpedo’s and double toro’s.
    Cheers,

This is a hard question to answer. Different occasions tend to determine the choice. I choose a robusto for my long hour drive home everyday. The golf course demands a Churchill. My weekend morning “cigar with coffee” is a milder but smaller than a robusto smoke. With all of that said my all time favorite size is a Toro (6 or 6.5×52 or 54) and is my choice for my evening smoke after dinner, either outside (spring summer and early fall) or while watching TV in the man cave when cold out!

My favorite would have to be a 5 x 48-52 Robusto. The robusto shape is appealing for me because thats what I envision when I think about cigars and the stereotypical shape of parejo shaped cigars.
