If a cigar burns hot, point it towards the sky!
I don’t know why it is, but sometimes a cigar will burn hot. I hate that! And it’s funny that certain brands will burn hotter than others. But I recently came upon a workaround. I noticed that if I held the offending cigar with its ash up, the stick will quickly cool down. This was particulary true with the CAO Amazon Basin...a great cigar that simply burned hot. Try this for yourself and let me know if it works for you.
