Mike 91: My Super Bowl Sunday smoke. Nice spicy wrapper with full flavor and sweet notes. Smoked well beyond the band.
Will 89: Nicely packed bellibusto, nice earthy barnyard aroma, pretty sure this has lots of Nicarauguan tobacco in it. Wonderful salty caramel flavor on 1st ignition. Really nice for the first 15 minutes, it burned fast but maybe because I was hitting it hard. about halfway into the 2nd 3rd the taste profile changed but not for the better. The salty caramel and long leather finish gave way to a flinty mineral dirt flavor. I set this gar down for a few minutes to let it cool but it made no difference, the lovely taste never returned. I want to smoke some more of these to see if my hot boxing ruined the taste.
Rob 92: Draw is nice, but slightly tight. The first 1/3 evolved to a slight sweetness; retrohale has a touch of cinnamon. Very smooth, no spice or pepper. Evolved almost to a mild root beer essence. Very thick, smooth smoke.
Artie 94: Unlit aroma sour and unappealing. Opens up with flavors of fruit or canteloupe. Second half developes a sweet spiciness. The nub has a chewy, meaty character that is quite delishous. Finish is light and sweet.
Jim 91:Nicely constructed, easy initail draw. Started very mild in flavor. Picking up some black pepper as it heats ups. Not strong, just in the after taste. Definitely notes of cedar. Fairly even burn but thr ash crown is splitting. Brought it down to the nub!
