CAO Amazon Basin V2.0

CAO Amazon Basin

V2.0 is just as good as the original.

At the beginning of 2015, one cigar grabbed my attention for its unique look, flavor, and blend. This cigar, the CAO Amazon Basin, was made from a limited supply of tobacco grown in the Brazilian Rainforest. Called Braganca, it had quite a story and my article of January 2015 reflects just how much I loved that cigar. Now, a new batch of the Amazon Basin is available, and I’m happy to say that the current vintage is just as good as the first.

The packaging remains the same, as does the unique tobacco rope that serves as a cigar band. Its fruity richness is delightful, and it burns with perfect symmetry. This cigar has great complexity, and flavor evolution.

If you missed the Amazon Basin the first time, this is an opportunity to sample one of the best cigars of the year. But don’t wait too long; these rare cigars are already starting to sell out.
