Keep your lighters warm and cozy.

No way to treat a lighter.

No way to treat a lighter.

Now that winter is around the corner, smoking in the cold outdoors can be challenging.  One thing to make our chilly nights a bit warmer, is good butane torch maintenance.  When butane gets cold, it loses its ability to produce a good flame.  It’s a good idea to keep our lighter in our pockets when not in use.  That way our bodies will keep them warm.  A warm lighter is a happy lighter.  Also, I know it’s hard, but we must remember to bring our lighters inside the house when we come in.  My kids often leave my good lighters out overnight, and the condensation causes all kinds of miss-fires.  A good drying out will often fix the problem…but some lighters have not survived this torture.  Just some things to keep in mind.

Happy smokes,

Joe

I use the refillable lighters @ home for the most part, seems like every time I went to use one when I am not @ home the thing is on empty or close to it. I just carry a BIC disposable lighter these days and one other thought they are really light in the pocket compared to the others
